Multi Level Pilates Mat- Mondays 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Appropriate for beginners and intermediate students, mat class encourages students to work deeply and will improve core strength, posture, balance, flexibility, and form. Strong emphasis on abdominal strength and endurance.

Intermediate Pilates Mat- Tuesdays/Thursdays 9:30-10:30 a.m.

This class incorporates mat exercises up to the advanced level and is taught in a flow style workout that challenges endurance as well as precision. Best suited for experienced students with some knowledge of classical exercises and a regular pilates practice.
Mat classes follow a flowing choreography and emphasize the core principles of Pilates including: breath, concentration, control, centering, precision, balanced muscle development, rhythm/flow, whole body movement and relaxation. Mat Pilates is suitable for beginner and advanced students, it can be practiced in addition to equipment classes or simply mat. One major benefit of Mat Pilates is - it’s portable, all you need is a mat and a place to stretch out. Take it with you on vacation, at home or when you have 5 or 10 minutes to spare.
